Acessing friends outside of game?

Does anyone know if there is a way of accessing your friends list outside of game?

Get their IM handle and add them to your F-List on your IM program.

If you are trying to access your F-List on GW and see who's online/offline etc, I don't think that's possible unless you login to GW.
