Looking to Find a Dependable Site for an Access Key

Although I'm relatively sure we aren't allowed to directly request new/used Guild Wars keys, I recently bought a used box from Amazon and discovered that it didn't come with an access key. So now I have the box and CDs (the "free/worthless" things, mostly), but I can't play. I'm considering simply returning everything and getting my money back, but what I got out of this was the install, so now all I need is an access key.

Are there any dependable websites or places I can go to buy a Nightfall access key? Ebay has a few auctioners here and there, but I'm aware eBay is not too dependable or helpful. JUST the access key, NOT any of the other junk.

While on the subject, I have a question-- why doesn't NCSoft simply sell GW access keys themselves? They'd certainly make a better profit just selling the keys and not producing more CDs/boxes.

whatever the original account email you used to set up the account no matter how short/easy to guess/ etc will be automaticlly locked in if you use them.

that email login becomes only a fixed login name

you can change the password/CONTACT EMAIL not the login email on the new master account you set up

i set up a secure new email with my isp with maximum charactes (over 20) and reset my email BEFORE using the store.

i am locked but 20+ login characters will be harder to guess plus the password

so you are telling me that the moment I use an email address for the store, it locks that email address, preventing me from changing it at any time? And then they keylog/attempt to guess my password and get into my account?!

My account for PlayNC (which existed beforehand b/c I used to play Lineage II, which is now deactivated) has a different login name + password than my regular email. However, my GW login name is the same as my PlayNC account name, plus "@plaync" ...

As long as you aren't using trivial passwords and use a different password then you use for forums and such,you are most likely safe.

I would also say that you need to return the one you bought on Amazon and ask for your money back. It clearly says on the back of the box "Not valid for resale by prior owner", so the person who sold it to you is in breach of the EULA anyway, and the disks inside are worthless, you can get the installer from guildwars.com for nothing, and the game itself downloads only once you have added a valid key and started to play.

Some of the best retail prices I have seen on Guildwars campaigns, from a reputable source, have to be from Game, but they are UK based as is their online store.

when you use the store you have to set up an NCsoft master account so you can be billed.

the original email in the login is superceded by your master account which you can change at any time.

but that original creation email in the login is now locked.

you can still change the login password at any time through the master account change password function
