I am not sure how to word this but I was just wondering how many of you have PlayNC Accounts?I am not sure if I do or not as made an account when signing on the online store does that mean I have one or not?I am posting this here as I thought I almost had my account hacked as it turns it was just the error 58.I was in Sanctum Cay sending a pm and was dced.It took me to my char selection screen and asked if I was sure if I wanted to delete this char which I wouldn't.
This got me wondering If my account was some hacked before I got the error 58 as send back ToA.I have contacted NCsoft support to ask about my account info and they want your name,address,dob and cd keys.I was asking them this if I want to change my password and I have to go through PlayNC.How many of you have done this?I would just like simpler method.I know someone who posted in the Tech. Forum about having his account hacked twice and lost all his stuff and chars.This makes me wonder how really safe is the database as well do they back it if not they should like most websites.
There doesn't seem to be any safe guards in place to prevent this and clean my system out regularly.There should be some back up on the server side.This unlike most games I have where all info is stored on my hard drive.Being a guild leader would make me have more anxiety about this.I heard of other stories of player losing char due to a hack and they didn't download anything.There is no one who knows about my account name password and it is not written down anywhere.

i hope you did not lose/forget your login/password for it as linking is done automatically
when you use the ingame password change it will give you a NCsoft link if you did.
your original login email now just that............a login which can not be changed
you can change your GW password through the NCsoft master account as well as your contact email address.

i hope you did not lose/forget your login/password for it as linking is done automatically
when you use the ingame password change it will give you a NCsoft link if you did.
your original login email now just that............a login which can not be changed
you can change your GW password through the NCsoft master account as well as your contact email address.
