I was just taking a look at the list of PvP skills in GWEN and haven't been very happy with what I saw. What does everyone else think about them?
For warriors, disarmed looks like it might be good to carry along, but the others are okay a best. Soldiers speed seems a little useless to me. Knee cutter is only good if you've got NF. Keen chop isn't bad, but it'd be better for an axe assassin to use.
For monks Aura of stability sounds nice, but no one is ever going to use it unless they know for a fact they will be facing KD, even then there might be better uses for a skill slot. Smiting gets one attack signet and two condition removals. Seems odd to me. Patient spirit has a WITW feel to it. It might make a fair cover enchantment, but it goes away too quick to be of much use. Dervs might use it as a cheap self heal, but they'd have better options. Healing ribbon seems to be the best monk skill available.
For mesmers, Aneurysm might be a good end to an e-denial spike (or allow you to respike someone) but for the most part seems dangerous and useless against non-els. Signet of recall seems like a horrible way to regain energy unless you are out of energy to begin with but even then you only net 6 energy at 12 insp. Shrinking armor and waste not want not seem to be the only good spells.
Els actually get a fairly good deal this time. The only one that really gets shafted is water magic (again). I like glowing ice, but slippery ground and winter's embrace seem not that useful (there are other and easier KD options) and beyond useless. I mean WE would never be used in PvE and in PvP I'd pick some other snare from the water line.
Assassins have some good skills IMO, and it'll be interesting to see them used in.
For rits, I don't like Agony and Rejeuvenation, largely becaue the spirits are going to kill themselves quick enough. Sundering weapon is going to get nerfed with exaustion in about 2 weeks after release. Spiritleech Aura might be good if you are in PvP and know there's going to be a rit lord on the other team, but if not, there are better uses for a skill slot.
For paragons, anthem of weriness looks like it needs nerfing. Spear Swipe seems, odd. It could be over-powered as well. Inspirational speech seems like it'd have modest use at best. It'd charge up a fighter before a fight a little, but that's about it.
For dervs, crippling victory doesn't seem to do enough damage. Otherwise they look fairly good.

There are already a few threads for feedback on these skills afaik. Too lazy to dig them up though.
