Weird thing happened last night

I am new to PVP and rolled a PVP only sin last night. I finished a RA battle and was returning to the isle. But for some reason I went to the character select screen? I was thinking I hit the wrong button.

On this screen I had only four character slots that where all empty!!!!! After I initially soiling myself I thought maybe this was just a PVP option area to change your PVP character primary to another class or something till I read this

Choosing the Profession
First, the primary profession of the character must be chosen. You can choose your secondary profession after you've created your character. A PvP character's primary profession cannot be altered after creating the character. It must be deleted and "rerolled". But you can still change your PvP character's secondary profession.

I have all campaigns and 10 characters for PVE and 1 one PVP

I after a few OMG WTF noooooooo way I closed out GW and re-logged in and all my characters were there. Anyone else have this happen?

Just a server side error I guess, I had one a long time ago when all of the armors on all my Chars were turn into starter armor, then after log out/in again they were back to normal. If all your guys/girls are still there and nothing missing. Then don't worry about it.

/offtopic. Ye armors also are brought back to basic in the log-in screen after you re-installed GW. AFter you logged out and -in again the armors will be as before you re-installd it.

That sounds like the reason. It was a long loading screen then into the character screen. I should have tried to start a new character to see what would happen

I agree! I had a big shock after a clean install of GW, and that was just because all the armor went back to noob armor. I can't imagine how much I would have scream.

Actually I was so shocked I knocked my keyboard to the ground. Then I dove for it and started hitting keys while on my knees desperately hoping to toggle back.

crying would have been the least of my worries probably after two stints in the hospital after i had a heart attack id find out that my char were all right

I have had this happen to me as well. First time it hapenned I soiled my pants, now I know to just close out the game and re-open.

it happened to me 2 nights ago as well...although i was just switching from a PVE toon to a PVP one...i hit F12 for character select and it popped up Roleplay or PvP selection...i about crapped...had all empty slots too.

reading that post was about the most suspenseful thing iv heard all day. i would have freaked out.
