I am confused, I guess, when everyone says playable species.

There is no additional slot and no noobie island. So whatare these species just heroes? Do you assume their form? How are they "playable"?

Just Heroes. Guild Wars 2 will have playable species.

Playable like how Zhed is a playable centaur. I think you will be getting 3 such heroes, a war, ranger and ele.
