I may be way off base here, but chasing the last 3% on a continent map using photoshop comparisons and little sector maps from wiki and other sites seems to be a bit over the top to attain a Grandmaster Cartographer title.

Considering you really have no idea WHERE on a continent you may be missing parts of a zone, backtracking and wallhugging becomes a little redundant and boring when you have to guesstimate where clouded areas seem to be. Would it be such a bad thing to have a (xx% explored) show on the minimap's title bar for the zone currently being explored ? That way at least we could move on to the zones we are actually missing pieces of easily.

Just a thought / suggestion.
