Zaishen Elite builds

I'm looking for some hero setups that will reliably win in the Zaishen Elite challenges. Having not extensively played four of the ten professions, I have quite a few skills that still need unlocking. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

p.s. If there's a better location for this thread, please move it. I know this isn't farming in the usual sense. On the other hand, it seems similar to the experience grinding topics, and it's not really pvp.

Trappers. Although you will have to micro their skills, which can be a bother. 2 human trappers + whatever heroes(Monk is recommended + 1 more damage dealer/support)can kill anything there. Frozen Soil is required. I'm sure 1 trapper + 3 heroes can work, but I've never bothered, as someone else in my guild will generally come along.

Zaishen Elite is farming, basically, for Balthazar faction. It's terrific for unlocking skills, like you said, and it is definitely not PvP.

As for builds, I just use the Solo Stygian Veil build I found here:

EW, then QZ, Trappers or Serpent's(I recommend Trapper's), then AE, Echo, Dust, Echo, Dust, Dust, Barbed, Tripwire, and trap away.

12+1+3 Wilderness
12+3 Expertise
3(?)+3 Beast Mastery

yes, 3 Superiors, the idea is to make them as-plode at the gate
+15, +18, or +20 staff of Fortitude, preferred

I think my guildie uses:

As far as running this, just lay your spirits on either side of the gate, so they body block and funnel to you, and lay all your traps in the middle.

Zaishen Elite will as-plode.

Hmm, trappers is good - I see people LF trapper teams from time to time - but even easier is 3 Savannah Heat eles, and some kind of healer, vs the IW team.

Have the eles pack Mirror of Disenchantment, and laugh.
