GW:EN Stand Alone Gloves and Mesmers...

Hello all...
I noticed that all new GW:EN stand alone gloves,which are universal and avaliable for all classes (like magma,crystal,earth etc.) are covering hands from elbow to hand. Like all classes gloves do...except mesmer ones,which cover only the hand.

example:

Now how the hell will it look on mesmer? Will they be cut at the wrists? Or can we expect some serious clipping and glitches?

Hmmm never thought about that.

Im also wondering on how it will look on rit kurz 15k male armor. Im hoping that it covers the whole arm and doesnt look like a small glove.

We don't even know how it works and why it's there...

I think it might look dopey on some warrior armors, since you have all this heavy armor around your shoulders, and then bare hands covered in magma... or in the case of the earthen hands... uhh... faeces.

Yeah I too was wondering how it was going to work.. and if it was an extention of the skin... or is it more like the festival hats.. or if it armor then i guess it would just be like having two different armor sets... which can = eye sore in my opinion. We'll see though.. i think it's a neat idea at least.

By the looks of the pictures it doesn't really look like they are armor, more like they have changed your body to become that element. So not gloves, new forearms.

im guessing that the crystal glove is able to be crafted take diamonds just a hunch

I'm hoping they'd be cut at the wrists or else a reskinned version an exsisting mesmer type used.

I'm hoping these special golves actually have a purpose, like adding an additional damage type to your attacks

example: wielding an Icy Dragon Sword while wearing magma hands would make your attacks deal both fire and cold damage.

Might be a tad over-powered, but would still be a cool concept.

I am also hoping that they some extra purpose then just looks. Because if when you're wearing the magma hands, casting fire magic, it deals like an extra 25% fire damage or whatever would be sweet on my nuker ele. Or, when wearing it in combo with a weapon of the same ele damage type, it causes something extra.

I don't think both the above Idea's would work both would make the elementalists conjure(whatever) too strong.

^ conjure flame or frost would be too good if the hands also added an effect(extra damage/burning ect.)

^If you could get 2 elements one one weapon you could take a melee class like assassain put both attunements up(using glyph of elemental power to boost them) and do tons of damage.

I dunno, i'm rambling. D: would your hands do extra damage if melted by lava or frozen solid to crystal?
my guess is that this is just looks. and might even be the unique armor.
but im just guessing
