hey, with all the recent hullabaloo on banning, im really worried about me being banned as well, because recently i used my friend's account and used it to transfer festival prizes to my own account. ( with his knowledge and approval of course)

i cannot login to guild wars atm because im not home and i was wondering if there was another way to know if my account is safe or not?

so could anybody possibly enlighten me? tyvm

I do that all the time for more than a year now (owning two accounts of my own). Nothing to fear there.

The only thing about what you're doing that would be against the EULA is using an account that you don't own (your friend is not allowed to give his account to anyone else - this is a protective measure against account fraud). But Anet does not know that, has no way of detecting it and will do nothing against it as long as your friend doesn't report his account stolen.

Honestly, there is a lot of hysteria and paranoia about banning going on around here. Despite what many people claim, it is my impression that Anets banning practise is quite good (yes, I know that it is not fail-proof and errors are being made).
