I'm not sure if this has been posted before, to me he doesn't say anything all that outstanding, but info is info.
He does explain a little bit about how the story lines tie together and so forth which is kind of interesting.

This made me laugh, because it's exactly how I felt about Gwen at the time.

"Gwen trapped me on a pier when I started playing Guild Wars," Grubb said. "I couldn't get her to move out of the way and as a new player; I had no idea how to get away. I can understand why some players dislike her."

No, it hasn't been, at least I haven't seen it..and I'm pretty high up there on the level of knowing about GW:EN :P.

Thank you for the link starting at page 2. The initial comments seem to be filler for both the writer and Grubb.

I never had much problem with Gwen, and I thought of her as a little kid's toon actually. My only realization people thought of her as some sort of cult icon was when I found these forums. Much ado about nothing me thinks . . . .

And the whole "Gwen-cult" thing actually draws its roots from one of the latter beta weekends, at the end of which scores of Gwens popped up in Lion's Arch and Denravi, and subsequently killed everyone is flashy spouts of fiery death.

Fiery death heh? Since she's a mesmer, I wonder who will be first person to put fire ele on her as secondary just to make it "tie in"? Oi!

Well... just to be honest I was planning on a fast casting fire build for Gwen. I'm sure others are as well. Echo Fire storm with Rodgorts to boot.
