I really don't know how this particular forum's security is setup, but I doubt that the admins are going to bother with banning you by IP. For most people, changing their IP is like changing dirty underwear, not hard. I would guess that your login itself would be disabled, and only if you continued to be a pest would they bother banning by IP. It's not good business to have tons of IP's banned. In the (unlikely) event that a person came to this site under a previously banned IP, how would that look?

And no, having two accounts posting from the same IP is not a bannable offense.

Diddy bow, all alt accounts are perma banned when you are issued with a temp ban for a Ventari's rule violation. Too many people think its acceptable to just use another account while they are banned.
