help please! why do I get hit so hard!

I'm having trouble with guild wars pvp and I don't understand it! and it's driving me insane! it happens in ab ra and any other pvp. I use my Ritualist and I tryto use dervish as my 2nd profession in pvp but occasionally a assassin.

first problem is why do I take so much damage?! I have full suit of 60 armour and I dont' understand how deep freeze hits me 190 damage, immolate hits me 130 damage, most warriors hit me with an axe for 90 damage + with every attack some times 150s hammer warrios hit me 100+s every time occasionally 150s inferno hit a 200 on me irrestiable sweep hit as 180 on me
and basicaly every single assasin attack hits over 90s on me
every single spell used against me does insane damage and I don't know why
not only that but my build doesnt have very much defense either way even if I try to heal ect I still take insane dmg unless I use protective spirit...

and not only that but my 2nd problem is I have ascythe with +14% dmg +20% dmg and I use ermites sweep with mistic sweep and spirits strength scythe mastey level 12 and spawning power level 16 and I can only (rarely) hit 100s on 60 armour person with my attack skills USUALLY it's 50-80 dmg and with normal attack sI hit 40-50s !

why is this happening to me?! I can't kill anyone and everyone can kill me ! I'm not using any spels to increase dmg like frenzy and they usually dont have any spells that deduct dmg or I wouldnt complain. I'm watching everything carefully and I know somethings not right here!

assasins are great against spell casters but their armor is a joke. you have to like interrupt and knock down to prevent most ele attacks rather than rely on armor. remember that if the damage is really high (which i do believe your saying the truth) its probably the caster is runed up but that should make them easier to kill and can play to your advantage. assasins against derv and war isnt in my opinion their specialty i suggest you bring stuff like blinding skills or stances to avoid there attacks and you should do much better. but never ever just bring attacks and a heal always take something to escape or prevent damage (as assasin). also you can specialise in killing casters or meelee which in worst case you will always have an advantage on certain character classes which you may find has advantages over say a general build.

you are a Rt/Dv using a sythe? thats your problem right there.

Rt = caster = low armour rating = KEEP OUT OF MELEE untill you figure out prot/defensive skills..-.-

as for not dealing damage....well you are a caster using a sythe, you are never gonna do as much damage as a primary dervish...

What skills do you use that benefit from 16 points in Spawning Power?

Do you have max armour... Even a rit shouldn't be taking 190 from deep freeze.

Spirit's Strength ?

Anyways, those numbers are not ok. I don't know if you have a PvP only character to PvP with, but you should. If you don't, you've most likely missed a piece of armour and you're still running around with a non-max piece of armour.

Give us the exact name of each piece of your armor and their rating.

Give us the build you're working with.

Give us the weaps you're using.

We'll make you into a glad2 in no time =p

it's impossible for deep freeze to do 190 damage if you indeed have 60AL (unless you're using frenzy :P ). Same goes for immolate : 130 damage ain't possible.

So you're either largely exaggerating things, or you're using a PvE toon who's not wearing max armor.

notice how he says he uses assasin from time to time with similar results. i personally dont know mcuh about ritus so i advised him on his assmo usage.

Scythe is not a good weapon to use with Spirit's Strength. Use daggers or something.

Scythe is great in PvE for multiple targets, but yeah, horrible in PvP.

yes those dmg are pretty much impossible unless you dont have max armor.

If you are running away from a melee character and your back is facing them while they are hitting you, you will receive critical hits. Best thing to do is learn how to kite so you do not take so much dmg.

unless someone is running around with a lvl 29 pet aatxe then you're pretty much screwed >_>
