Worth getting if not level 20?
n111ck
Havent played GW in ages and my highest level character is only 14 so is there any point get EotN - will I be able to access any of the content?
Arkantos
I'm not sure if you can access it, but all the content in GWEN is meant for level 20. I wouldn't bother getting it until you're level 20.
I'm sure you can get to level 20 by the time GWEN comes out though.

As if you couldn't level yourself to 20 in a couple of weeks.

Getting to level 20 isn't that hard for any campaign, but proph, which I'm guessing you have, is the most time consuming.

Almost everyone in factions and Nightfall went to mainland Kaineng, and Kourna when they were only level 13~14 in both games with 30~45AL armour, and Kaineng and Kourna are both Lv20 areas. If they come from Prophecies, armour AL is weaker, but levelwise they would also be around 13~14 by the time they reach Lions Arch (except minus the 30 attribute points).
Sure it may take a little while hiding behind Lv20 henchmen before you can finally afford the max 60AL armours, but that's all about it.
The main concern is just whether Anet will intentionally blocked it out like in Battle Isles... Otherwise there won't be any problems.

You can get to lvl 20 in NF in like 8 hours and in Factions around 4-6 gours
I don't know how long it would take to be lvl 20 in Prop

If you've got Factions or Nightfall it will be very easy for you to level up fast. Even if you've only got Prophecies it won't take you that long.
Remember, you don't need to get GW:EN right now. Level up and then order it online when you've almost got to lvl 20.

Most importantly you should realize that the content of GW:EN has a difficulty somewhere between hardmode and Elite areas like Domain of Anguish, Fissure of Woe and the Underworld. It will never be easy. In fact I doubt if its possible at all to play most of it without a good human party. Although I would be happy if someone could confirm I'm wrong here

Play all the way to the end of the other 3 games, then buy it if you are still playing by then. Don't have the other games?.....then you for sure should get one of those (Nightfall because more people there to play with) instead of GW:EN because it is more bang for your buck anyway.

I really, really doubt that GWEN will be that hard. Hard mode and elite areas are optional areas for the more hardcore gamers among the player base. Releasing an entire expansion, that wraps up GW1 and has ties to GW2, with content on the same level as for hardcore gamers would just be ridiculous. GWEN will most likely have the same difficulty as level 20 content in the other campaigns. Basically, it will just be a campaign without the newb island.

I don't know if you can access it or not but if you could you'd be playing alone, no one would team up with you.
My suggestion is, save your money theres alot of other games coming out. Get to level 20, make some more toons, level them up and THEN buy it.
GW:EN is aimed at people who have numerous lvl 20s who want more more more lvl 20 content.
you already have a tonne of content thats "new" to you ahead of you. getting gw:en for you would be a bad move atm, simply wait.
think of it like this, its like UW/FoW or DoA for you....its great but you cant enjoy it...yet. So go finish your character, complete the current story, make a few more characters get them to lvl 20 and then when you've completed your campaigns story and you want some more stuff to do. THEN :-) get gwen.

Why didn't you get to level 20 first time out? As has already been stated it doesn't take long. However, if GW did not interest you, GW:EN probably won't either. BTW define ages, couple of months ago or back when Prophecies came out. If it's the latter, then I would get Nightfall first to get you re-aquainted.

I don't believe this is the case that EOTN will be anywhere near as difficult as either Hard Mode or DOA. That would scare off the majority of the player base really fast.
In any case me and all the Hard Mode players I know successfully did the vast majority of Hard Mode with 2 players and 6 Heroes in the party, since there are so few Hard Mode players out there to party with. Hard Mode is for the most part, very, very doable with a party 2 players and 6 Heroes. So since EOTN is surely going to be much less difficult than Hard Mode, it is definitely wrong that you will need a good human party to succeed in EOTN.
To the OP's question: Why aren't you at level 20? If you are not interested in GW enough to have gotten to level 20, why would you be interested in a whole new GW game? Not judging you, just asking because I don't follow the logic there. Maybe you should get to level 20 and finish up enjoying your current GW game first before moving on to EOTN.
Otherwise, if you give more specific reasons about why you are not level 20 yet, but still want EOTN, then we can better answer your question if EOTN is worth getting for you or not.
Getting EOTN before you are level 20 and if you never intend to get to level 20 is not worth it, no, because the content will be too high for your level.
