I'm a long time Guild Wars player looking to find a European PvP guild, preferably with an emphasis on HA.
About Me
I'm 29 and come from England, and would consider myself a fairly serious player. I've accumulated nearly 6000 hours of play from when I first started just over 2 years ago, although the majority of that is in PvE. I didn't start HAing until after my first year in GW. I have over a million balthazar faction, and am currently r7 and not a million miles from r8, although I've hardly played PvP since hard mode came out. I am comfortable with most roles from frontline through to the backline, although I am not an experienced caller. I have all skills unlocked for use.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking ideally for a Euro guild so that our playing times will sync, although as you might guess, I am on more often than not anyway
I'm looking primarily for a guild that will serve as a community of friends that PvPs together, with the emphasis on friendship. I'd rather join a moderately competent guild that enjoyed gaming together, than a "leet" guild that spent half their time slagging each other (or opponents) off. Guild chat should be a nice happy place with no name calling, raving, or ego trips. Essentially I've never yet been in a guild that PvPs on a regular basis, and PvPing with PUGs can be a slow and painful process at times. So hopefully the guild in question will provide the player base to enable me to start PvPing on a regular basis, and to see how far I can go as a player in an organised PvP environment.As stated my emphasis is currently on HA primarily because it's where I am most comfortable having played it the most, but I also enjoy GvGs (especially with decent, organised groups!), as well as TA, especially if the support base is there to help me "get into them" on a more serious basis. I would be very keen to do more GvGs and to learn from people who have more experience in it than I do, but I've never been in a PvP guild so never really had the chance to learn much about GvG beyond some casual experience.
As an aside, I'm also into my PvE, so if the guild does a bit of that - DoA, Urgoz, FoW, vanquishing, etc - then that would be a bonus.
What I Would Contribute
I would be an active member that would generally be around; it's very rare if I'm not on at least once a day, and for a few hours at a time. If other members are friendly, polite and treat me with respect then I will reciprocate that in kind. I'd like to think that I'm a decent, tactical player that has a modicum of common sense and tries his best, and is willing (and happy) to take on board advice and constructive criticism.
