Should we, as players, set up some Tome Trading in preperation for GW:EN?

I have gathered many tomes in my quest as a Ritualist to get through Hard Mode missions for the end result of Legendary Guardian (already have Guardian of Cantha, now to just secure the rest of the missions in the other two campaigns).

The thing is, for PvE I really only play Ritualist. I do have other characters, many all 20, but none with the progress that my Ritualist has and I pretty much just stick to it. I've collected a ton of normal and elite tomes of all classes but I'm willing to trade them for Ritualist tomes.

Now, I'm sure there has to be a lot of you in the same position I am in, and want to get an early skill advantage in GW:EN by racking up Balth faction before the preview/release, buy all of your classes new skills for PvP, and unload them onto your character for PvE afterward with a bunch of your classes' tomes.

Should the community set up a thread, or other specific place, for tome trading in preparation for GW:EN? I have a ton of other class tomes which I could probably sell off, but I think it would be more efficient time spent for a trading hub set up for this purpose.

Thoughts?

I was thinking maybe it would be more interesting to see the Scroll Traders dealing in tomes. It may be odd considering that the Skill Trader may become obsolete but still it would make for one interesting and stable market.

It will not if they make the mnimum buy price for them 1500 gold or 2k.

That way, skill traders will be 1skill point+platinum, and tomes woulñd be the 'no skill point but more expensive' option.

I think traders should handle tomes. Its really annoying not being able to find any rit tomes from aaanybody lol.

I think its a cool idea to set up a trading thread though. Even though im sure everyone will be asking for rit tomes lol. For some reason they seem like the most popular ones right now.

Scroll traders should really be upgraded to sell tomes. I'm sick of waiting for someone to sell me tomes. Especially if I'm looking for ritualist tomes. Only a handful of people get/have any. Meh maybe in another year they'll make the change.

No-one sells rit tomes because they are quite rare... i mean how many rit monsters can u name that come in a big group and are easy to farm in HM... Now how many warriors or eles can u name that come in a big group and are easy to farm in HM...

I think that GW:EN will already be based on the ideas for GW2 and so will have quests that reward skills.

So indeed the only reason to do as OP said is to gain an early advantage but ... at a steep cost.

Want Rit tomes?

Farm Yeti outside Aspenwood Gate Luxon-side.
Can't think of anywhere better to get them.

As for setting up a trading organisation here temporarily, it doesn't seem like such a bad idea. I have quite a few tomes for classes that I'll never really play that much.... and am in need of certain others in far greater numbers.
