Yeah I know this isnt really new about that one but I got the experience recently, that why. Why is so hate by players? I know almost everyone use Mysticism + Earth Prayer for «tanking killing machine sensation» but I find it... old and non original. Okay, I'm someone who loves original builds than cookie cutter builds but its not my point here.

My point is really about the hate. Ignorant? Less experience with it? I know many builds with the wind prayers but really few use it. Many of them I encountered in PvE and PvP (Mostly AvA because I havent seen 1 in GvG right now) played with earth and mystic regeneration for a minor self heal regeneration.

I'm not here to flame anybody or about something like that. Its just... I don't know... I don't feel like everyone use the same build over and over again and never change it.

So I have two questions for you all, do you love Wind prayers? Yes or No? And why? You can tell in PvP (Like heroes Ascent, AvA or GvG) experiences because I wish not to play with my Wind Dervish in PvP for now.

Ps: No flaming in or arguing to take down another player, I just want your opinions. No need builds.

wind and earth are both good, but they have their uses. theyre are a few exceptions, but the deneral rule is that Earth is for PvE and Wind is for PvP. earth prayers contains mass heals, damage reducers, armor buffs, and mass blinding. wind contains IAS, speed buffs, cripples, ect. but using wind prayers in PvE and earth in PvP results in inferior builds.

Wind Prayers is an awesome skill line. Personally I use it mostly for AB but sometimes when I'm bored I'll go with it in PvE.

For example, my AB skillbar looks like this:
[skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill]
[skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill]
[skill]Banishing Strike[/skill]
[skill]Natural Healing[/skill] / [skill]Dwayna's Touch[/skill]
[skill]Harrier's Grasp[/skill]
[skill]Featherfoot Grace[/skill]
[skill]Watchful Intervention[/skill]
[skill]Onslaught[/skill]

Other variant is swapping Onslaught and Harrier's Grasp to Grenth's Grasp + some other skill while wielding an icy scythe (e.g. Icy Soulbreaker).

I did some test with the Wind Prayers and mix with other attributes. We can tell with the elite skill [skill]zealous vow[/skill] we can drop mysticism even to 0 if we used it for gaining energies when an enchantment ends (Whirlwind charge for IaS). I could consider we can have both Earth and Wind at the same time. Its not all, Grenth's Finger gives cold damage to your weapons, so I thought about using [skill]spinal shivers[/skill] mixing with Zealous Vow for energy reduction and interrupt + [skill]rending sweep[/skill] for removing enchantments while hit (Try to use it while doing some damage)

my UW solo involes wind prayers and of course that is a fun build.

i have a Onslaught build i am really starting to like more and more when coupled with Aura of Holy Might.

Wind is a cool attribute line but just not used much it seems.
