Guild Wars Randomly Shutting Down

Guild Wars has started randomly exiting the game. It will exit the game very frequently often under 5 minutes of playing. I have tried everything I could possibly think of - I tried going into different zones, playing with heroes, playing with no heroes, zoning out alone, trying a different character, trying PvP areas, trying PvP areas, changing video settings, changing sound settings but nothing seems to prevent it from exiting.

are you trying to run more than one program/application at a time?

sounds like something in your machine is going bad. when it gets over stressed it shuts down

There sure are a lot of folks getting graphical glitches, freeze ups and restarts lately.

I wonder if in releasing the updates to fix the two recent exploits they wound up getting some code in there that wasn't quite ready to go.

Might want to wait to replace computer parts until they get the last of the updates out for this weekend. If there is some corrupt code there that might take care of it.

I've been having a similar problem since the last update. My guild wars window will disappear and will disappear from the taskbar too. Though the process will still carry on running in the task manager. So I have to manually kill it.

It is getting very irksome.

I reinstalled Guild Wars, and even while I was patching it would completely exit. No shut down lag, nothing. I can only have the program open for about 5 seconds before it completely closes. Roughly. I put in my email, password, and its usually only enough time to load my characters. :/ Help.
