you cant get 'part' of a screen shot as the name suggests its a shot of your screen, you will have to use a photo program to edit it using the crop option.

Well to be more specific you need to "render" the cape. If you don't have photoshop, use GIMP:

Here's a Tut on rendering:

That's using GIMP if you have or can get Photoshop, Here's a Tut for rendering using Photoshop.

It's not as snazzy as the stuff like gimp and photoshop, but if all you want to do is crop screenshots, use Paint. (It's almost always installed on Windows machines. Look under Accessories in your Start Menu.)
Open the screenshot file in Paint. Click the select region mode button (looks like a dashed rectangle. On mine, it's always the upper right button on the left toolbar.) Click and drag to select the part of the screenshot you want to keep. Hit Cntl-C to copy. Open a new file in Paint, hit Cntl-V to paste the selection, save new file.
Always worked for me.
Cheers and GL!

Certain programs will actually let you select a specific section to copy. There are a lot that have more advanced features, but ScreenPrint32 has worked well for me
