Introduction

Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been playing GW in a pretty introverted style for the past year or so, so I figured why not talk about GW with other people once in a while? Anyway, something recently happened that was quite strange.

So there I was in Kamadan and this guy says that he's selling Shiro's Blades for 2K, and no I didn't leave out a zero, 2k gold, 2 platinum, that's what he wanted for Shiro's Blades. It sounds a little TGTBT so I initiate the trade and see that the fool has customized them. Obviously I canceled the deal and called him a scammer. He swore up and down that anyone can use these daggers. Everyone else told him the opposite. Then he asked if there was a way to un-customize them, and was informed no.

Then he started adverting a green axe. I figured this guy was a n00b (I am to an extent as well) so I told him I'd buy the axe if it wasn't customized. It wasn't so I bought it: Victo's Battle Axe, for 4k. I don't know how valuable it is, so did I get ripped off or make out like a bandit?

Victo’s has dropped a lot in value, but I think you still made off with a deal. I want to Say I see a lot of WTS Victos for 10k or so.

ahhh victo's. remember the good ol' days when the 20/20 axe and shield went for 80k?

Victos'axe normally sell for 7-9k these day, 4k is still a bargain. I remember when Victo's Bulwark was 100k +. Ah good times.

I figured it was pretty good, considering that a max axe with no bonuses costs 5k + materials.

well i often sell items for alot less than they are worth...considering you sale them faster...2k is cheap but i don't think its anything to worry about. I sell dwayna's sycthe for 15k and it often goes for 25K + but i sale within 10 mins usually.
