How does Dragon Slash work?
tornadoli
It costs 10 adrenaline and gives u lets say 4 adr. Does it mean DS only needs 6 more adr or does the adr only work on other skills?
SotiCoto
You get the Adrenaline recharge AFTER using the skill.
You need 10 to use it in the first place, but after that you'll only need another 6 for the next one, and it adds 4 to all your other skills as well.

The concept idea behind Dragon Slash is that you load up on Adrenaline skills and activate an IAS such as Flail, everyone's favorite
As your under the influance of Flail, your attack speed increases, increasing your adrenaline alot, as you go about swinging, your lower adrenaline cost skills will recharge and you can use them, but once Dragon Slash is charged up, (your lesser adrenaline skills should have been used before this though) it will reward you with enough adrenaline to reactivate your skill chain instantly.
ex:
1-2-3-4-Dragon Slash, 1-4 recharge instantly

My, that's a good question, Timmy.Basically, in PvE, you use Dragon Slash and everything drops dead.
It really is awesome.
Oh, be sure to Flail, too!
... I feel dirty for not posting any cat pictures...

Dragon slash works to kill stuff. With FGJ and flail or frenzy, it can kill stuff really quickly.

Yay GW:EN!
A/W!
Way of the Master + Critical Agility + Dragon Slash!

Touché.
You're right there.
You're right there.

Yeah, it adds 5 because if you've got a Furious sword mod, you can get Dragon Slash to fully recharge itself sometimes.
The only thing better than Dragon Slashing an opponent is immediately Dragon Slashing them again.

put on for great justice, have max swordsmanship and it will always recharge itself.
haggus71
yeah, D-slash, Sun and Moon for the double hit adrenaline, and Talon's awesome silverwing is a common sword build for straight damage. Nice for non-fleshies. Gash/Sever does dick in some Asura dungeons, where Skeleton Wizards copulate and multiply.
Oso Minar
Get your kindly neighborhood Ritualist to throw on a Great Dwarf Weapon (or anyone with a decent Dwarf Rank), and Dragon Slashers get to have even MORE fun!

I played on my warrior for the first time in ages last night with "FGJ!" and Dragon Slash - was obscenely fun! it got even more fun when I got to the Charr...and I got to use my Charrslaying Sword
zling
Dragon Slash goes will with Sun and Moon Slash as well as For Great Justice
those 3 skills mean you have constant adrenaline for whatever else you have in your build. only bummer is to get the first 10 adrenaline, or 8 for Sun and Moon Slash :P
you can toss in Sever Artery+Gash, recommended only in PvP although some say it's needed in PvE as well.
toss in Flail or Frenzy as your IAS
toss in a speed boost if PvP and other utility if PvE
if you're in PvP toss a res and you're done
if you're in PvE dont use Sever Artery+Gash and toss in Conjure Element and something else, Watch Yourself! and Healing Signet or Lion's Comfort are solid choices.
than add a res or something else and you're done
if you're using conjure dont forget to use an elemental weapon of your conjure choice

Frenzy and Sprint = instant death with DS.It took factions to get a good sword elite like this instead of 100blades.

Squishy ftw
[skill]enraging charge[/skill] + [skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] + [skill]flail[/skill] + [skill]dragon slash[/skill] = byebye mean looking monster
It's basicly 20sec(durtion of FGJ) dragon slash spamming.

Am I the only one that has used this build since I capped DS from factions? I use Galrath, Sun and Moon, DS, FGJ, Flail, LION COMFORT (great heal w/ this build) Enraged charge, sunspear rebirth. Or a Dwarf/Conjure skill.
ShadowbaneX
I've been using Dragon Slash on my warrior since I capped it. He uses a slightly different build though. W/A Sword 12+1+1 Str 12+1 Shadow Arts 3
[skill]Power Attack[/skill][skill]Sun and Moon Slash[/skill][skill]Barbarous Slice[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Dragon Slash[/skill][skill]Endure Pain[/skill][skill]Berserker Stance[/skill][skill]Death's Charge[/skill]
Sun and Moon used to be Jaizhenju Strike
Barbarous Slice used to be Sever Artery
Basically I find something I want to hurt, get to it, turn on Berserker, beat on something for 10 seconds by which time my adrenaline is full and then I just start using my adrenaline skills: sun and moon, barbarous, gash, dragon slash which recharges them, power attack for more damage and an extra slash of adrenaline, then repeat. (Note since Dragon Slash gives itself 5 adrenaline, well, 1 for power attack, 2 for sun and moon, 1 for barbarous, 1 for gash, hey, Dragon Slash is recharged!
With all the hits I'm getting my adrenaline skills are constantly charged, meaning I'm doing constantly high pressure. If I get into trouble I just activate endure pain, giving me nearly 300 more hp until one of the monks can get around to healing me and since they're usually heroes that usually happens. Death's Charge is generally for getting into the fight. I sorta call this my paratrooper build. Their job is to jump into the fray, cause a ruckus, get the enemy turned around for when the rest of the team comes in.
(And no, I've never really liked the tactics line...save with my paragon)
