Luxon Vs. Kurzick

So Basically i have a small guild and we're trying to get more serious but... i dont really understand the difference between Luxon and Kurzick.... so if someone could clear that up for me it would be much appreciated. thanks

Fundamentally there is no difference.

It is just a matter of appearance.
Kurzicks are classical gothic... Luxons are gypsy-pirates.
Kurzicks like art and singing and poncing around... Luxons like hitting things with sharpened sticks and painting themselves.

Honestly... it is all in the asthetics.
I prefer the look and feel of Echovald Forest and the Kurzick lifestyle. You might prefer everything to be in luminous turquoise and go Luxon.
In the end it doesn't make a shred of difference.

Luxon, red outposts, jade sea, weapons from jade itself, giant siege turtles which cause mass destruction.

Kurzick, blue outposts, stone forest, weapons of steel and more artistic, giant juggernauts which slowly move but can knock down people and flip over said siege turtles.

I was under the impression that most ppl chose to join kurzick or luxon guild based on what kind of armor they ultimately want to acquire.

At least, that's why I chose luxon for my guild...I wanted the elite luxon for my ele

Although what said above is true, the bigger differences that apply to YOU are:

- Scan through the Kurzick and Luxon armor before making your choice, selecting the armor you prefer before making your choice.

- Although both have different ways of doing so, getting faction on the kurzick side is slightly faster and easier

- Again, although both are the same, the Kurzick and Luxon skills both have different icons. This should be the last thing on your mind but this could possibly influence your selection.

Just letting you know the facts.

I thought you could buy elite armor from either side as long as you just have more faction for the side you want to buy from, regardless of your allegiance.

Also, someone once posted the best explanation of the differences I ever heard, went something like:

Luxon says: LOL Die Kursucks.

Kurzick says: Suxons!! LOL

The armor should not be a point when choosing your factions as you can get any armor regardless of which faction you are with.

I got my 15K monk kurzick armor , when i was in a luxon guild, now i'm in a kurzick guild,not that it matters :|

So yeah, there really isn't a difference, you can even choose the luxon guildhall ( jade) if your guild is kurzick, again no difference

Yeah, its purely cosmetic. You can get whatever armor you want. Though keep in mind, if everybody in your guild wants Kurzick armor, going kurzick would be a better choice since it will be easier to earn Kurzick faction (through Alliance Battles) so you can get Amber for your Kurzick armor (the same is true for going Luxon side makes it easier to get Jade for Luxon armor).

Isnt it a case of how many factions from who you got. I have luxon armor but about 9000 kurzick factions(still doing some quests). Wich means im kurzick(atm) i guess, because luxons wont trade or sell me anything.

as it was said no difference at all but people tend to make it so serious at times often offending oposing party as bad as possible Yeah and Video was horrible but funny lol I am Kurz by the way but lately i am more of the Askalonian type person and Dweller of Tourment so i dont bother any more lol

And yes they choose becouse of the armor and the cities etc
