Free Runner
I like the sinister music that plays when the earthquakes happen.

Have the earthquakes stopped? ><
prism2525
are the quakes regular or just random/one time?
Jiao Yang
They come every 10 minutes I think.
Omega X
Those aren't rats, those are dogs!

If I remember correctly this does have to do with the preview weekend. Something about opening up rifts in the world. Could be wrong though.
prism2525
I think that would be more Nightfall-ish. Cracks rather than rifts, or Asurian portals at best.
Delta_24
I think they'd open up cracks, which lead to Asuran tunnels, with their portals. And they happen every 8 minutes =)

Has anyoen else seen the ooze talk? i was running around LA and saw one saying about seeing the real truth in TOA and stuff that your prophets would never know.
fenix
Tsk tsk, you guys are forgetting important story elements. The Great Destroyer splits the world apart, remember? He's gonna rock up, say hi, tear things apart, and then we'll have to go into the cracks (Superman into lava style) and fix it. The rats and Ooze will live in the Dungeons
Jiao Yang
fenix you make it sound so exciting!
It seems that GWO is the place to be for discussion on this Ooze, lol.

Eye of the North's story is divided into three sections:
The first takes place in the Depths of Tyria (which are revealed when earthquakes rip through the 3 continents), which contains 18 dungeons and involves helping the Dwarves fight against the Great Destroyer.
The second will involve three separate arcs involving the Asura on the Tarnished Coast near the Maguuma Jungle, the Norns in the Far Shiverpeaks, and the Charr homeland north of Ascalon.
The third will involve fighting the Great Destroyer.
From Guildwiki.
So the earthquakes will rip the earth apart and yes we have to go help. Just like Fenix said.

The Great Destroyer is a new threat. He isn't any more or less evil or sinister than Abaddon, so you don't need to call him "The Real Evil".

It was sarcasm man. I do see his point though... ok, Killed a rouge god... cool. Now for somthing... harder..? what?
Keep in mind that character development is always about taking on harder and harder challenges, not easier ones that pale in comparison to ones already experienced.

Oh this is related to GWEN? I was all excited, I thought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were coming. I mean ooze, rats, earthquakes - it all fit so well.

Maybe the great destroyer is like the God's big bad daddy like Chronus?
Or maybe with the northern feel of this more akin to Ragnarok

The earthquakes will soon pass!" I was running round like a headless chicken thinking Abbadon was gonna come slay me :\
