Well, first thing: make sure your DAT file is up to date, your PC may be getting bogged down when you try to load into that new area.

change your gw shortcut

right click on it go to properties
goto target outside of the quotes for gw.exe add -image
ex "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" - image
this will download the entire dat file and decompress it
or you can try -repair
