when you sign in, below where you type in your password, there is a link to "reset password." click on it and type in the email address that is tied to your account.

I know, that leads to the plaync.com site in which i cant change it because the number of loggins failed or something and i cant do anything

Meh. You probably just got hacked or someone you gave your password to simply stole the account (if you did anyways). You can keep trying to log into your plaync account, or make another one to contact support and talk to them about the issue.

Yeah chances are you gave out your password or downloade a keylogger.
Very easy to do without realising it, signing up to your guilds forum with the same password is a great example of how you just dont think about it but from there someone can easily access your details. As for a keylogger did you download any 3rd party programs related to GW?
It could also be a simple case of you gave your password out to someone you regret trusting and dont want to admit. But if thats the case not much anyone can do.

People, i´m not stupid, i didnt give my password to anyone, nor downloaded a keylogger, nor anything. I was playing as usual and out of a sudden someone connected with my account and changed my plaync password.
I´m so bloody desperate, i wrote to support, lets see what they say.

As I said Pey you dont have to be stupid. Its very easy to use the same password elsewhere, especially if you dont have many passwords. As an admin of several sites and forums I know just how easy it is to get someones password once they have created an account.

Someone brute forced your password then. You might get your account back, prob won't be anything on it if you do though.

and don't want to deal with it, but you're going to have to. So
contact Plaync and straighten it out. If you have the keycode,
original account name, and original PW, they'll be able to help you
fix it.

This happened to me, i was on three days ago, came back my password was changed. When i reset my password all my characters were gone.
1000+ hours wasted. I had it all too.
Im mortified!!!
NC says theres nothing they can do and that it sounds like a hack. I never gave account information to anyone anywere anytime

strange, my guild status and friends list are still there,even some of my lucky/unlucky titles are there. Its like someone accessed my account and just deleted my characters.
As of this morning i see that my storage has been untouched!!

I know i´m being a bit dramatic, but i just can´t help it, what i am supposed to do now? Sit back and not play gwen?
I tried resetting my password in plaync.com and the secret questions have changed...
Doens´t a.net have backups in cases like this? I´ve never (ever) given my password not downloaded any third party programs, not done anything illegal, not once.
I´m so sad.
