PETITION to change HoM monuments to Account Based!

For the reason why I'm making this go here:

Right now if you wanna put a mini-pet, item, weapon etc... in the HoM it becomes CUSTOMIZED to that character!! Why ANet? Why would you?

I understand your doing this to keep people from giving items to others just to make the monument and then give it back to the original person.

Lets make HoM... Account Based!!!

WTF... That has got to be the stupidest decision.

So in theory you'd need multiples of the minipets you've already earned for your different characters. Great.

Me and my 10 PvE characters don't like the idea of it being character based. The customization just makes it seem pointless.

To elaborate.

Factions CE came with ONE minipet. Kuunavang.
Nightfall CE came with ONE minipet. Varesh.
Your account can only obtain for you ONE Gray Giant and ONE Asura.

Why does Anet want us to have 1 for each character? WTF?

It's a Hall of Monuments. How monumental is it if the day EotN starts, everyone has a completed hall?

Ok, some things are to be character based, but not miniatures!

Miniatures should be customized to your own account, so they can't be traded and used for others by passing them around. But don't make it on 1 char. Others like to move minis around and use them on all their chars.

Also I hope in guild wars 2 your able to put all the titles you want on to 1 character as "inheritance" Instead of making 1 char get 1 title (or however many you had on one char). You should get to put every title and use it all on one.

No - Gaile Gray has actually confirmed that as things are at the moment, minis WILL be customised to the character that put them in the HoM, and are character-based.

It's not a very elegant solution to trading miniatures... surely, Anet could come up with something better.

In case you missed it, that's what we're opposed to.

What about the 2 years some of us have spent making our characters? Is that not a long enough period of time?

I meant that some thin gs like armor or weapons are something that one character use and others probably not.

But most people use all ministures with all their characters.

It's completely ilogical and unfair to mkae them only usable with one of your characters.

Nothing gets transferred. It just unlocks stuff on GW2. And I'm pretty sure the Hall of Monuments was advertised as account based some time ago. Why did they change it to something WORSE?

I very much agree =p I was hoping to stack all the pve titles for my account, like survivor and LDOA (which is impossible for a single character, but are not account based).

I VERY MUCH HOPE that the hall of monuments is not nearly complete at all and over the next week they will tweak it a lot.

Havn't had the chance to try it personally yet, but from what I gather this thing is far too much char-based. Already we are too much char-based on titles, and this just adds to the frustration.
