I dont know if this is deliberate, but I find it hard to be a glitch. With one of the last 2 updates as of 8/23/07, Fort Aspenwood has gotten stupidly hard for the kurzicks. The turtles siege range has increased, and now the gate doors dont autoclose after opening. Seems this has also roughly doubled the number of leechers on kurzick side of Fort Aspenwood.
It was hard enough as a kurzick before, now its nearly impossible to win if you have even 1 leech. Needless to say, I think I'm done with FA, and as thats the only thing I play nowadays, probably reducing my GW time to none till GWEN comes out.
In a related story, I saw the worse wammo ever today. Used Word of Censure, Healing Breeze, Mending, and axe attacks, at least 2 of which were energy based.

Like it or not he's telling the truth.
As of today, when you open a door it changes to the "broken" icon on the map (the grey one that looks like a broken lock), and although the NPCs are still alive it won't close or change back to the regular icon again unless someone pulls a lever to close it. Even if they want to make this change permanent (please don't ..), then at least make it so that the doors don't change to broken icons. It makes it hard to tell where amber is needed when you get through the green gate. There's no way to tell from the map if a door is actually broken, or just open.
I can't comment on if the turtle range changed because I haven't paid much attention before, but it does seem like they have a very long range right now.

That place is ridiculous. It can be fun for a abit, but the stupid imbalance gets old after a while. Now that I already got my r5 kurz rank for the skills, I don't plan on playing on the kurz side for a while.
Every update to that place has been in favor of the Luxons. The ONLY update I can remember that benefitted the kurzicks was fixing the gatekeepers/gunther to make them stop running out of green....the funny thing is it didn't fix anything - they still run out of green often. In fact, if you run in green when it breaks and be the first to aggro them, run out as far as you can in the opposite direction and they'll chase you all the way.

Horray for a change of scenery? |
Get it to your head, there are reasons people don't play JQ, and I've named a lot of em before. If FA is destroyed, no, we won't move to JQ.
