I'm new to this forum (and forums in general), but I was just wondering if anyone else has seen what I can only describe as a rabbit pit of doom and despair. It's to your immediate left after entering Drakkar Lake from Norrhart Domains. When you first enter the zone there's a friendly rabbit. If you follow it down the path, bunches of vaitters pop up and swamp the party. I guess my real question is, does this have any plot backup, is it a quest, or did the GW team feel like making a Holy Grail parody?

Personally, I'd avoid it for now, but it's something to watch out for. Especially if you're working on wall scraping this weekend.

I encountered all of those pop while doing the Dirty Deeds quest.

The guide doesn't have the monk and ele heroes listed. You get the dwarf and asura right after the intro quest.

How do you get the elite for the Bear?
I heard monks beat the Norn Tournament with it. :]

I only found him after doing lots of other missions including the Norn primarys so not sure when you can get the quests

not sure if you're on the lookout for greens, but I found this one:
also I encountered a bug, trying to enter Olafstead. The first time I tried to go in, it immediately kicked me back out into the Falls explorable. This happened twice before I was finally able to get in.

Small note: Longeye Ridge isn't available on the preview. I tried to get there but all it has are closed gates, so unless you need a specific Hero or quest completed, you can't get in there.
I'm guesssing the same for Umbral Grotto. If anyone managed to get in there, please tell.
Teddi
Yup. I tried to get to Longeye Ridge as well. I was definitely pissed when i found out I could not get in. It should not be on the Sneak Peak Weekend map.

You got pulled by the rabbits =D
send in a decoy and slowly kill them. =x

This is what you should do with the rabbit boss:
1: Find the place and follow the rabbit a short while.
2: Send 1 hero (your pick, but you prolly won't want to send a monk) down to the middle of that room. Watch him get royally pwned.
3: Repeatedly pull enemies from there until everything is dead.

Maillet de la Fratricide = Mallet of Fratricide? = Mallet of Friendly Fire?

Hey, does anyone else has the feeling that EN is like anti warrior based.
Take the Norn tournament for example, all the necros and mesmer are anti melee, i still havent found any build to complete the tournament (got to the boss though, but then he pawned me , because i had to take so much anti of everything)
Or the wolf transformation, its so unfair for warrior/paragons who only have two pips of energy regen and cant keep up their transformation as long as other professions can.

So warriors have the lowest base energy and get screwed, double that with some kind of condition that takes the armour away and Anet have succseeded in killing warriors

I'm guesssing the same for Umbral Grotto. If anyone managed to get in there, please tell. Yep, confirmed it's the same way for Umbral. Went to the area that zones to grassy lands (it's inside of a cave) and it's blocked.
I got ganked by a bunch of ogres for nothing.

What the hell language is that?
Duaric
Fratricide is killing your brother. As in, Cain killing Able. Mallet of Death. Man killing man could be refered to killing ones own brother. The french name could be a loose translation. Emphasis on "loose". lol

I found the various totemic aspects to be quite powerful and useful on my warrior.
Sure, I'd have liked to stay 'in aspect' longer, but I never died when on the quests where I was using them. Also, some of the totem skills seem to cause an energy regen effect - I spammed all the skills as a fast as possible, so I'm not sure which ones they were, but I *definately* saw energy level jumps.
In the Norn Tournament, I quickly found a couple warr builds** that pretty much owned everyone except Alesia and the Boss. Alesia I had to wear down by buring out her energy, and the boss has a spike that simply kills. But mesmers, elementalists, monks (excepting Alesia), and what-not - all fell, and fell fast.
I have no complaints, IRT Warriors - rank 3 Norn by Sat night, rank 1 each in Vanguard and Deldrimor.
**Wammo hammer build, lots of knock down and conditions, add Balth Spirit, healing breeze, use stoneskin guantlets, use Gavel of Nephilim or equivalent, plus non-vampiric alternate hammer, preferably with armor bonus v. elemental damage.

Hmm. The aspects work great for a warrior imo, but if you don't go to another group fast enough, I just pull out a staff or something for energy. I say its fine for a warrior, because they hsould be taking majority of hits so they'd gain tons of energy... and should be hitting also. Soul reaping + Forms= Non stop though lol.
The norn tournament build I use for my warrior is ViM, Dolyak Signet, Desperation/Drunken blow, and 2 stances. You can kill anyone easily (But Mhenlo takes a while, but he still dies).
Lastly... How do you get more Ebon Vanguard points? Are there shrines? I still only have 600 from quests.

You gain 1 point of energy every time you deal and take damage. Wield a zealous weapon, and have someone place Balthazar's Spirit and/or Essence Bond after you enter the aspect and have ridiculous durations. Also, all skills while in aspect have no energy costs, just activation times and recharges.
Madeentje
If u wield a zealous weapon when transformed, do u actually get the -1 regen (for -3 total), or does it stack on -2?
