well so far i made it to the hall of monuments in the eye of the north and its been almost an hour since its been open and 95% of it so far has been loading screens the downlaods just take way to long
im starting to get irritated (sp)

lack of mesmer heroes was a problem to me. I'm very happy that Gwen is a mesmer, another monk wouldynt be of any use.

I decided to display some armor and so far I'm dissapointed. I'm a Warrior not a Mesmer or Elementalist.

EDIT: Only 15k armor is displayed and none look like Warrior armor to me

I did some quests and went back ther and talked to Gwen and she gave me a free tapestry and I used it on the armor one. Now i need to add 1 more armor set for the night

can download all new files at once using the -image option
can avoid all downloads ingame if you do that

in guildwars shortcut, can do this
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image

what -image does is dloads/unpacks all files before the main game launches

Hehe, at Gunnar's Hold at the moment, just finished 3 of Kilroy Stonekin's brawling quests, going to do the 4th now... However Primary Asura Quest 'The Knowledgable Asura' and Primary Ebon Vanguard Quest 'The Missing Vanguard' are locked for the preview...

This quest is not enabled in the Sneak Peak Weekend. It will become active when Guild Wars: Eye of the North officially goes live on August 31, 2007.

Going to be no-lifing tonight and this weekend, hehe.

Btw I'm British if your wondering the time.

2:04pm, heh. Oh and I had no trouble this morning running an -image at max downloads (390kb/s), got the update in a minute or 2.

By the way at the moment I have; 600 Deldrimor reputation points, 291 Norn reputation points and 100 Ebon Vanguard reputation points. For the record, you need 1000 in each for the first title, and I intend to get at least the first title of them all (if possible) before the preview finishes!

It's also awesome! I've got Gwen, Vekk and Ogden Stonehealer all as Heroes! There amazing, haha. Gwen's new appearing is certainly cool, Vekk's voice wasn't what I expected, I expected something like Stick from Lilo & Stitch, haha! Although he's the small magical yet portal networky thing. :P

Looks like I can get some armour from a Vanguard in the EotN, and from a Norn in that Norn town. Looks like you need to get through their title tracks first though

Highlights so far:
Defeating Norn just to talk to them.
Norn bears are cool.
Followed a white rabbit into a cave, and then the screen filled with bad guys

Dwarven boxing with Kilroy Stonekin.

Here's also something interesting. I was carrying a tapestry shred, tattered cape, broke flute and iris flower in case I needed them for something. If you talk to Gwen while carrying them she says 'I can't believe you kept those all these years', and 'now is not the time, I must rescue my friends first' or something along those lines. If you drop those items she doesn't say that. Wonder if its a post completion quest of some sort?

If you speak to Gunnar Poundfist in Gunnar's Stronghold, give him Deldrimor Armor Remnants and he will craft armor for Gwen, Vekk and/or Ogden Stonehealer!

Noticed that too, although I was only carrying an iris flower at the time, and that was only because I found one near the Eye of the North.
