Unable to connect to AreaNet?

At first I was just having trouble with my whole system crashing when I tried to run a few steps into Boreal Station, then I read that it's a problem with the Intel Graphics card.

Now though I can't even open Guild Wars at all I click on the icon to open the game and it says connecting to AreaNet and does nothing at all.

Anyone else having this problem? I haevn't noticed any threads with the same problem yet. If it's just a connection problem, check your firewall settings. And be patient, it sometimes takes a few minutes, especially during high traffic times.

As for the graphics card problem, it shouldn't be stopping you from logging in, but you should definitely look into it. Definitely download new drivers, or roll back ASAP if the problem is stemming from a recent driver update.
