Minipets in the Hall of Monuments

I completely understand the need for minipets to be customized to prevent players from adding it to their collection and then either adding them to different characters on the same account or selling them all together. However, this customization should not prevent characters on the same account from displaying those minipets, only adding them to that character's HoM.

Furthermore, once a minipet is added to a character's HoM, the minipet should be able to be deleted from that character's storage and then created for 10gp (like Festival Masks) in the HoM. This feature would effectively increase player storage, especially if players want to own minipets in their HoM for all of their characters.

They are just for display, don't give any ingame advantage and will be untradeable when customized... so, why not?

I don't agree that they need to be customized at all, but if the must, then it needs to be account wide. I do like the idea for them to do it like the hats.

To clarify, this suggestion is not for minipets to be customized account wide. Minipets would be customized to one character on an account, but any character on that account can still display them.

Well I really don't see this happening. The Hall of Monuments is here for the sake of GW2, not to clear up storage in GW1.

That sounds like an awesome idea. Just add and customize all minipets and re-create them on any character you have on your account. Customized minipets can no longer be traded.

i didn't see this thread and created my own. but this idea has been floating around in my head for a while now. just didn't know this thread was ever created. well lets bounce it bacc up to the top and see who else co-signs it.

I honestly don't want minies to be customized to a character... account maybe... but don't like if it is to the char.
I suppose the idea otherwise is no harm at all, but don't see the need either.

in my eyes i dont want custo aswell. but if they allowed them to be recreated repeatedly. then they would need to be custo. just like hats per say. this would stop the mass intro into the trade market. but the original ded pet doesn't have to be custo'd. just the one that is created at the mini maker. this allows those of us who dont have the mini anymore to still access it. because the whole point is to ded the mini. the initial dedication of the mini is the real value. per say....

actually no it isn't. this is the original topic. the one that i posted is the repeat topic and was closed. if you look at the bottom post on my topic. the only other topic that is close to this... is for a mini pet costume. and is ridiculous.

I think most people would sign like they do every time this is brought up but I'll sign for any +1 pet storage type ideas. They take up space and are just begging for me to delete them.

no the minis created by the maker will still be custo'd to that individual character who creates them. just like hats. but the original mini can still be sold. think of it this way... if you dedicated a mini kanaxai... then sold the ded pet. you would be able to go to the make and create a copy for your own personal use... whenever you wanted. but it would be ded to you. the dedication part of this would stop the market issues. and thus wouldn't really hurt the market at all. the whole point of mini's in the HoM is to ded them... so once you ded it. you own the original copy. we all know this. so we should be able to still use that copy. this also would help all of us who have ded high end mini's then lost them to having our accounts hack'd. we get our minis back... in a form...

not really as in a sense the point of this is the same as it is now. to dedicate a mini pet... once it is dedicated, the account has the primal copy. so the person how dedicates the mini pet. can create copies of it only for that individual account. but the original dedicated copy can still be sold. this way people wont whine about it. in a sense it will keep the market at the same rate.
