Killing your Glacial Griffon?

Well My ranger is getting owned to hell by that ritualist of a griffon..

Any ideas?

Poison Arrow, Toxicity, Read the Wind, Favorable Winds, Troll Ungent and a longbow/flatbow

Let the degen do the damage, not your arrows.

Behind you there is a stack of crates lure him over and trap him in between them then go up to the cliff and have fun killing

As a Ranger, I used Magebane + interrupts and Apply Poison. Easier than with many other professions.

Edit: Magebane, not BHA! Now it costs 10 energy, but should still work.

I thought the Glacial Griffon was a walk in the park, but then as a ritualist I beat it at its own game. If you have Factions and a couple platinum for the right skills, I would recommend going /Rt regardless of profession and using Painful Bond with as many attack spirits as possible. Ideally you'd use Earthbind/Wanderlust, but an energy-recovery elite could work as well.

Alternately if you have Nightfall, try going R/Me and combining condition/degen spamming with Spiritual Pain and/or Unnatural Signet.

doomgiver: that was supposedly fixed in a patch a month or two ago (the notes specifically addressed that)

anyways yeah go poison as artorius said, my only addition is a +33% poison bow

poison him with apply poison
