I have been playing since very early this morning, and this time when I ran out of Eye of the North to go to the Battledepths a new skill was on me called 'Call of the Eye'
Description reads: Skill. You can feel the Eye of the North calling you.
Anyone know what this does/means?

I am also curious about it. I figure it might have to do with some thing at the Eye of the North / HoM, except it hasn't been enabled yet like the 2 other main primary quests. I thought maybe they wanted us to go back to HoM and use the tapestry, but I used both and it's still there.
In a related topic, there's also the Eye of the North mastery title track which mine has been stuck at 15. Not sure what is that about.

Mines been on 25 for hours, no clue as to what we get it for

mine went to 5 after i did that mission with the bear/brother person, i think it goes up when you complete dungeons and progress in tthe story.

I've had that quest active longer than I've seen the call. Did yours go away after you finished the quest?

I am sick of that effect on me! The fact that it's...just there...and being all mysterious...I just want it to go away! >_<

I think it means we're supposed to look into the scrying pool for a new vision/quest. But this being the preview weekend, most of the primary quests are locked.

Yeah, basically. After you complete the Northern Allies quest your 1/3rd done with the Against the Destroyers quest. But since you cannot complete the Asura and Vanguard aspect of that quest it put's the eye up. If you look at your quest log after completing Northern Allies and you highlight Against the Destroys you'll see at the bottom it gives you a "Thank you for playing the GWEN sneak preview weekend!". Hope that helps.
