Been playing since Prophecies, don't think I've ever experienced so much lag so regularly. Not just me either. Other folks I'm grouping with are experiencing it as well.

Any ETA on a fix?

Edit: Been getting it prior to the sneak peek weekend as well.

I've had lag since today.. but I found out it was my junk router, switched between other routers and bam.. crystal clear connection, so you might wanna check and see if it's just you. Though I don't actually doubt any lag from the event.

As I said, other folks are having the same problem IG.

Plus I'm getting 150ish FPS so doubt I'd need an upgrade to play GW. The ping though is pretty intolerable. Used to always be green, now it's usually orange/red :/ Am not experiencing any problems in other online games, so doubt it's my connection either.

Lag only started up only about a month or so ago as well.

Must be the heavy server load.I got constant lag while playing Fort Aspenwood.
Too many bandwidth for uploading game content I think.

It's just the way you perceive the world at this moment.

Get some sleep and lag should go away.

Right! Because it couldnt possibly be thier connection thats the problem...

Do a websearch for some sites to check your connection speed and such. It could also be bad equipment(hardware). I lost my internet entirely for a week, at the end of last month, because a splitter had gone bad. So "Upgrade your computer" isnt always the answer. Would love to see someone respond to a response like that by posting an invoice of insanely high-end parts... lol

The game has been pretty laggy today, at least in Europe. I was playing through Raisu Palace with some guildmates a few hours ago; we all experienced random spikes of heavy lag at the same times, and the average ping was above normal most of the time. We're all on different Internet connections so there probably wasn't anything wrong with them.

The preview weekend must be putting a lot of load on the game servers (and their Internet connections). I hope this won't be happening every day once GWEN is released.
