anyway, here is the bug with the model of the crown itself
thats the way a crown is shown on a normal warrior:
and here is the way its shown on a mesmer:
y is the front thing looks black? have no idea :S
then if u take the crown off and put it again - u get the lack of front thingy substituted by glitering plate stuff:
I hope ANet will fix that bug in the nearest future
P.S. im interested if any other crowns are bugged... and im not sure about female mesmer crown

I've seen female mesmers wearing it, and it looked fine, so it's clearly just a problem with the males.. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon enough.

I only get the black front, but not the ugly front even after requipping. Male mesmers get a unique crown!

May be a graphical issue with your own computer. Have you asked anyone else to look at your mesmer in-game and say if it looks bugged to them?

Don't think it's just you. I saw a Mesmer earlier today with the same problem. Unless you've also got a black Tyrian armor set you wear, it wasn't you. I'm sure they'll fix it along with all the other little bugs we're discovering during the preview.

It would be very nice if the entire crown was dyable. I can't get rid of the brown color.

My Male Mesmer has the same problem, running NVidia 6600GT chipset on this end. I think it's just a texture slip-up.
