Combat Music Really Sucks - Make Optional?

I absolutely HATE the combat music in Nighfall, and despite numerous pleas on this list, it has made it into GWEN as well. Please, please... give us a checkbox to disable it? I just want the regular music, no combat rutkis It completely destroys the wonderful music. It's ADHD. It keeps switching back and forth back and forth, and completely destroys the aural experience. Pretty Please make it optional?

Agreed, make it optional.
On the same subject, it'd be great to include pauses in the explorable music. 10 minutes in an area and I hate the music.

go to options then sound then under music put the bar down to none and the music wont play

I turned the volume down all the way on all in-game music about an hour after I started playing.

I love the background music in this game, but dearly dislike it being interrupted by the battle music.

I suggest being able to adjust ambient and combat music levels separately. And maybe throw in a "frequency" tab for ambient music so that it only plays the ambient music for a short while every so often; the music in EOTN is just so...how to say it..."disney-like" in composition that it gives me a headache listening to it for too long, although it would be just fine if it played only once in a while.

I like the combat music but it annoys me you never get to hear all of it so I downloaded the soundtrack from directsong so I can hear it's track in its entirety.

PvE battles are just so short in some areas that there isn't enough time to settle into either a full ambient state; or a full combat state. So you end up oscillating between the two... and it's painful. Just when I'm finally getting use to the ambient music, it abruptly switches over to the drums (Nightfall) or the high-strung music (for GWEN). In some cases, combat isn't over, and it switches to ambient mode. In any case, I don't like it. I really liked Prophesies and Factions since the music didn't jump back and forth. The biggest issue isn't even the music (although the combat music in Nightfall is quite lame), it's the indecisiveness.
If one were to make that a 'lever' that would be even better, ie a scale somewhat like:
Ambient . 0 . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . 5 . . . 6 . . . 7 . . . 8 . . . 9 . Combat
So, if you had 0, it'd just never switch over to combat music; while, if you had it at 9, it'd always play the combat music. If you had 1-3, it'd only switch over to combat music after quite a bit of activity; where if you had 6-7 it'd switch over even if foes are outside of aggro, 8 if you or your heros use a skill.
This is an extreme expression of the options meant to illustrate the general problem; I'm only asking for a OFF switch to the "combat" music. I want it to *always* be ambient music.
