Thought I'd start this thread to talk to ze rangers who tamed their new pets this weekend and anyone else who wants to bask in the new pet-ness

I capped Eagles for each one of my packhunters (Morgahn, Jin and Magrid) cant wait for the new ranger hero, R/Ps ftw.

Anyway, in other news, Ive heard theres a tameable Reindeer somewhere, any sightings?!

I was going to grab one of the new wolves, hadn't decided which color. But then I heard they don't grow, so I decided to keep the same wolf I've had since pre-searing. I like my pets gigantic, and I'm rather attached to him at this point anyway.

I replaced my ranger's crane with an eagle and got my dervish a bear.

Now to see what pets can be found in Asura and Charr lands (God I hope that raptor from the trailer is tameable...)

I wish the birds like the eagle, not the moas, were smaller size though. Of course ideally, I'd love the birds of prey to perch on my Ranger's shoulder or wrist when they aren't attacking.

A book I read several years ago called Raptor by Gary Jennings had a main character with a devoted pet hawk. The eagle would swoop down out of the sky and claw the enemy's eyes out. Good stuff!

My sin has a bear, and I set her jin up as a pack hunter aaaages ago and never got her a pet. So she now has a polar bear. Cookies and cream

No caps for me... I don't want to lose my Rangers' current pet of her Elder White Tiger...

I do plan on trying them all out, love the polar bear and the black wolf.

I would like to have a pet storage... Losing a dire pet is no fun... especially when there are new ones out in GWEN...

Also the Eagle and the Phoenix are way too large. They fly around like on a rail... fixed at a hover height which really looks bad. I would rather have a smaller mesh that could look like it wasn't on a fixed height than what is current.

It shouldn't take much to change this... look at spell effects, arrows, and spears... they all can travel higher than the single player plane.

Some simple changes to make life better for Ranger Beast Masters - Reduce the size of the Eagle and Phoenix. Change their animation movements so they are not constantly hovering and look wrong. Add in pet storage. Everyone will be happy.

I had no luck. I couldnt get on until sunday and i spent the ENTIRE day trying to get a white moa... went all the way till 2:30 am and no luck

you have no idea how pissed I was after spending since 4 pm getting there and trying to get one...

THEY NEVER SPAWNED IN ANY OF THE PLACES ON WIKI OR WHO I ASKED >_< i tried MULLLLLLLLLLLLLLTIPLE times!

I even got rid of my hard earned hyena to get one

now i have no pets </3

Since when is a reindeer not an animal? I'm sure the people around Scandanavia would disagree with that.

i got a white moa on my ranger, i zoned in from sifhalla into drakkar they were there but I had no charm pet so i went back into sif and returned but they weren't there, so i just kept zoning for like 20mins until there was another spawn.

I had Jora tame a white moa, decided it didn't look right. So I zoned to Kamadan to see if the tamer would run from a white moa, he doesn't. I got rid of the moa and had Jora tame a Polar bear. My w/r tamed an eagle. meh

I got an eagle, but I had to get rid of my old Stalker to do it. Now I regret throwing away the stalker and the eagle's wing flapping is annoying >_<. Maybe I'll get a nice black wolf...

I too would love a "pet storage". After hauling butt through Nightfall just to get my hyena, there's no way I could part with him now. But I sure wold like to try another pet. *sigh*
