Has Anyone been hacked through trade?

My nephew uses a borrowed account, but today someone got on the account. When i saw his account online i tried to whisper him, but no one answered. A few hours later, the "hacker" sent me some offensive messages, telling me that i should just shut up, or else he would delete all my characters. So, i got kinda scared (mostly confused). PS: my friend's account got "hacked" this week (coincidence?). Please, need some info on that. Take care.

I don't think that is possible. A trade window doesn't open any external links and a character name is not the same as an account name... The player may have let their email slip and it could have gone from there. If it's a barrowed account, the original user could have returned onto it and just had a bad attitude. Honestly, no there is no possible way to get hacked during a trade.

I agree with you. Maybe it's just the original owner acting like a MF, or it's a keylogger, but my nephew wouldn't download one (i hope).

All 4 characters on that account are now naked (only one was lvl 20). Not much was lost, just 5k in cash, 2 weapons, but i'm still thinking how that happened.

well if its a "borrowed" account there must be other people with the info for it
