I've been running a couple of new characters through Ascalon for the first time in many months. I had forgotten how many bosses show up in those early missions. I was wondering if it would be worth it to go back to those early missions with a signet of capture? My son's got an account so getting the missions won't be a problem.

Elite skills don't show up until the desert.

The quickest way (though it'll cost you a bit of coin) to get elite skills in Prophecies is by having someone run you from North to Southern Shiverpeaks. Most of the elite skills in the desert, IMO, aren't that great.

Alas, none of the bosses in Post-Searing Ascalon have elite skills, even in Hard Mode.

The exception to this, naturally, is some of the bosses that spawn during the Titan Quests.

Defy Pain right outside beacons @ the same spot as Life Barrier (1 Random boss shows, 3 bosses share the spawn point ... 2 of them have the listed elites)

Cobble Poundstone in Old Ascalon has Dwarven Battle Stance, and he's just a stone elemental boss. Hard Mode of course.
