Hiya,
The getting the norn's support happened rather quickly through the primary quest and challenges so I am guessing that there will be another set of primary quests after getting the support of the asura and vanguard before the final battle. Do you think this will be a number of the 18 dungeons that must be completed before the final battle or separate challenge quests only utilising a part of the larger dungeons (as I am sure a few people wont have the time to finish the larger dungeons; I'm hoping for this kind of method so I can tackle the other dungeon when and where )
How do ya think the primary story will be laid out?

As far as I know, the Nightfall preview event allowed players to play only the isle of Istan content. Now, given that the Nightfall campaign only really starts at the consulate docks (after all, the foreign characters start there), I'd say there must be a lot more to do in EotN than that.
I'd expect you'd get at least twice as much content as we had during preview while getting the aid of the Dwarves and the Asura.
After that, we have ourselves an army that first needs to stop the destroyer invasion - I'd say that's the second third of the game.
Last, someone needs to go down to find out what the destroyers are and where they come from. I get the feeling that's going to be you. Just lucky, I guess
Last, we keep forgeting that the content of EotN is not just the storyline - a good part of it are the dungeons. Each dungeon is the equivalent of a whole map of its own, and that's a lot of content to do.

I suppose it's also possible that the content of this expansion will be about 50% campaign and 50% explorable dungeons (optional). I'm completely comfortable with a shorter campaign if that is the case... in fact, I kind of like the idea. I played through the factions missions and prophecies missions a few times but have gone into The Deep and Sorrows Furnace countless repeated times. With 18 multilevel dungeons with boss rooms etc. I'm really excited since I think the game will be much more replayable.

I'm waiting to see how they reintroduce the game opening to us after the preview. Can I just go to the crack in the hill in Elona, effectively starting at that point or what? I'm very excited.
The 18 dungeons are really supposed to be the first portion, oh dear, a life spent underground. After that, you head to the Asura aboveground, the Norn and the Ebon Vanguard. Then finally you get to do in the Great Destroyer.
Sounds like fun!

Sounds like fun! I hope we can just map to the towns we've already explored. I mean, to me that's almost more important than keeping the crap drops I got.
Officially, the First Act is the Dungeons, Second Act is the different Races, Third Act is Great Destroyer.
However, judging from the preview, it looks like these acts will be much more flexible than Nightfall or Factions, and we can explore, and do the side quests as we wish in any order.
(I hope so, anyway).
