It requires a high rank in SS and a decent one in Kurz/Luxon, but I have been using this armor ignoring build lately. Especially in EOTN with the ridiculous levels and huge armor.

Theres a million casters out there now, and the recent buff to 126 armor ignoring dmg brought this guy back to my bar.
Ether Nightmare
I know, it sucks, but its synergy with COP is very good, and with -6 on the degen, its not that bad to get a whole group pressured (not to mention spamming their remove hexes)
Echo
I am loving the 10 second recharge of this now - I bring it to echo anything in my bar depending on what I am up against, but mainly for COP

10 rank in SS = 100 AOE dmg spike + interrupt. Unmatched

Ridiculous synergy with deep freeze. No need to worry about energy, when you get low pop this then deep freeze.
Deep Freeze
With 0 spec you still get the max seconds of slow-down, and its excellent to use when you are running with heroes so they can do their job and stop running around in circles. Normally I wouldn't bring 2 skills like Auspicious and Deep just for e-management, but the ability for AOE mob control actually works great.

As for power spike it has and always will be one of my favorite interupts, fast recharge, nice dmg, just overall great. COP is awesome skill...I usually team it up with e-surge for quick AOE dmg but I guess echo works just as well haven't really tried it out tho. Not sure about deep freeze although in my signet of illusion build I use it alot. I don't really find slow as useful in pve (although i wish it was) I don't have ether nightmare cause...I just don't. High ranks in afew things causes problems but It looks pretty good.

CoP + Ether Nightmare is indeed a great combo, I could watch waves of Afflicted melt in my eyes. If you can swap out Deep Wound for Well of Silence or Suffering (I didn't want to buy a skill, and Well of Silence was in hero trainer...), then it would be -7 to -10 degen. I have only r1 kurzick/luxon and r7 sunspear, but it still works great.
Oh, and Necrosis. MoR + Fast Casting + Necrosis = Discord before nerf.

Man I love pickin on the necros with power spike. Good call on the MoR, didn't even think of him. Getting empathy on each melee while interrupting more often pSpike (6 sec recharge, me likes) would certainly be useful. I hate having to spec 15 in FC to get that mantra to stay up though
