if you upgrade a fiery dragon sword with a icy sword hilt, does the fire turn blue?

Fiery Dragon Swords have the Fiery mod built in. Can't be changed. No adding ANY hilt to it. Dyes effect the dragon head (green looks cool imo).

Yeah, otherwise you'd be able to have... like a vamparic dragon blade or something.
There are a couple of weapons like this with built in mods that can not be changed. The fiery gladius. The icy blade axe. The fiery blade axe.

Yes other swords you can upgrade/change the mod.
