WHtas with all the random invites/trades?
wolfwing
Usually I have a full part of hero's/henchmen, but some times I will be sitting in a area waiting for my friend to join and ask for invite, and I will get a random person asking to join my party or have me join, or even weirder random people just giving trades, all of wich without even asking/saying anything.

Sometimes if you are by a merchant or storage, people try to click on the npc or the chest and select you by mistake. Happens all the time to me.

Random Invites-Usually for missions, People need monks and they see a monk in the district so they invite. They added the profession abbreviation over your head for a reason.
Random Trades-A-holes.., maybe botters.

Even when I have 8/8 on my monk, I STILL get people trying to invite me. Real people replace hench or heroes so you can still get invites when you have one in your party.

True...but the thing is, I'm a dervish and to be honest I'm not going to invite/join a group that randomly asks without knowing if I'm even interested.
And as for trade/invitees being because you click on them by accident doesn't fly both require a second button push. Only way it works is if your adding a henchmen and accidently add a aplayer standing nearby, though I've learnt to check the name before I hit the Plus sign.

If someone invites you to a party or tries to trade and you don't know what's going on, just decline and keep doing what you're doing.
wolfwing
Yeah, it's more an annoyance, plus some times I will invite one of the randoms instead of my friends and have to boot them.
Darkobra
I use party search to add hench to avoid that. And the one thing that annoys me greatly is people randomly inviting me without a word. I never said I was looking for a mission, let alone a PuG, and even the nerfed AI of stupidity puts me in less of a stressful situation than a team of Leeroys.
I have a rule when agreeing to join a group, if I ever decide to do that to my mentality again: If they invite me when I ASK for an invite, they're most likely going to listen to other requests, so will be worth joining. If they invite you randomly, they'll charge into battle randomly and not worth my time.

Just ignore the invites you get unless you're trading with someone of course. For me people send invites so they can see my avatars strip. Cheap thrills ftw?

I get random people coming up to me wanting to open a trade window
I usually accept and offer nothing just incase they make a mistake, but they know what they are doing: if it's my derv, they offer some green scythe, if it's my warrior, it's some medium/high end sword, if I have my treasure hunter title on, they offer gold unid's. Pretty much just unsolicited solicitations.

Randomly getting invited is rather common; if you are the class they want they will invite. They don't ask for some reason, but I too find myself random inviting for PuGs. Random trade though...thats, well...you know...random.

With persistent uninvited traders just add to your team, zone to a different town, leave and zone back.

I usually just click accept and offer nothing if they offer me random trades. They usually go away fast.

I was in LA once and some guy opened a trade window with me. He offered 1g and so I offered 1g in return and he accepted. *lol* When I asked him why he did that he said he was bored and that he'd done it to nearly everyone in the dist. In Ascalon City I get alot of people who just open windows and when I cancel they keep opening the window.

Nothing new. A while ago when I would stand in Droks, trade window opens and I get a whisper from the person saying, "You buy?". You could tell who these people were.
