How much HP do you have?
chaelord
I was just wondering, out of curiosity, how much HP do u guys have BEFORE casting enchantments??
Donni Darkblade
570
one superior rune of scythe mastery
one minor vigor rune (cba to get major, I don't like it when there's a 1 or 6 at the end of my hp :P round numbers ftw)
one rune of vitae

Seef II
505 (sup vigor, scythe, survivor on all but chestpiece). I want something in the mid-500s, so that means getting +30 HPs instead of +5 ALs for all my scythes, which would run me pretty broke.

580 or 585, cant quite remember. Superior vigor and +30hp weapon. I usually wear 2-3 minor runes, with the rest radiant. I have armor pieces with alternate runes (minor/superior/radiant version of each attribute) so I can just swap it out for whichever build at will, but I rarely leave the minor/minor/radiant/radiant/vigor setup.
Most I've ever had with buffs was 2,300 I think.

Perfected Shadow
480 HP: Windwalker insignias on chest and legs, radiant on the rest. Superior Scythe Rune, minors, Superior Vigor. Enchantments +20% scythe to cast enchantments then switch to +30 health scythe usually to make it 510.
Coloneh
alot. i think about 600. superior runes FTL
Stormlord Alex
620.
Can be a touch lower, if I'm using Majors to hit breakpoints.

i have 2 armor styles, one has 2 sup runes on it so it is around 400 but i use that armor with earth skills, particualrly [skill]Vital Boon[/skill] so my hp is higher anyway. I also have another armor set runed differently for higher hp. I noramlly try to run with 2 sups and rely on the added healing and added dmg to get #@! done for me but in other instances or builds i'll run with higher hp.
so it pretty much depends on what im doing and what armor i have equiped.

Around 800-1000hp since I use Vital Blessing and my monk or ranger uses Symbiosis which supports Dervish by give it 100-200 hp for every enchantment it has on it, and monk heals with enchantments so around 1200+ hp
Evilsod

Talk down to people much? reminds me of my boss.
Evilsod
Not really, i just can't be arsed to have to keep retorting to people who think you need 600+ health in PvE and shouldn't use Sup runes... personally i'll take my +53 Lyssa and 16 Scythe over minors anyday.
xsist2nsp1re
Evilsod = Noob, I can pwn u any day with my 1000+ hp dervish
milkflopance

Can you? [skill]Gaze of Contempt[/skill]
Abedeus
405 for Ranger (no vigor runes on main character? Blasphemy!), 435 with bow/spear+shield/daggers.
485 for Monk (I don't need more - Prot Spirit helps when you have lesser amounts of health)
505 for Mesmer, 568 on Norn territory (r3). Yeah, I like huge health.
600 on warrior. I don't trust henchies. Or heroes.
530 on elementalist - Same as warrior. I died because Djinn casted Searing Flames twice, when I had only 450 health. Screw +armor bonuses.
450 on ritualist - Luv Shelter/Union combo. 30 dmg from boss? Great, me wantz.

My characters have around 435 health each from armor... I take a Superior rune on them and no health boosts aside from weapon. Although my warrior usually has 1035 from Defy Pain + Endure Pain and my Ritualist usually goes with 330 because he's usually farming

in PVE, sup runes are great, this is just my opinion so dont flame it, im just simply saying this is how i think when im runing up.
My play-style is to equip sup runes where my HP is around 400-500 (without buffs from skills). In PVE if you cant survive with 400-500 hp with 2 monks backing you then something is wrong (sure different areas require different play style and different builds). I find my builds are more effective with less HP and more attributes so i heal for and hit for more. As long as your team build is set up correctly you should have no problem setting up with around 400hp and also as long as you dont go crazy aggroing everything in site.
Know where your aggro bubles are, know your team builds, and know how to play your build and you shuold have no problem.
Ok, thats just my opinion, im not shooting down anyone elses playstyle, its awesome seeing different styles, it really adds more variety to the game when you team up with someone new. This threads sounds like it was just for fun anyway so have fun with it.

Whoops, I just realized I was replying in the Dervish section about my non-Dervish characters. Sorry, I had thought it was just general area.
