As people know Fort aspenwood is a major leechers gathering. With an auto bot script for auto joining.Today I saw some intersting bots here

One is the bot that wander around and stuck in the wall.other is bot that just follow players.

As I paly Luxon I have change to push on and joining other pushing inside the fort into Kurzick's spawn point.I try to hit an AFK W/Rt.Suddenly when I strike it cast Vengengeful was Khenai and follow by Dolyak signet.

A few more years bots can farm AB point for you

ah so that was a bot that was following me today....yes they just follow you endlessly and do nothing, even when she died she would make a b-line to me.

Gentlemen, witness - EVOLUTION! The bot has evolved the ability to move.

I foresee a tiem when bots pass the Turing test. Or rather, where the only way to determine whether someone is a bot or not is to check if theskillbar includes mending (only humans still equip mending )

Only one way to block these virtual players (blue pill anyone?):

Turing test, 35 energy, 3 casting, 360 recharge.
You challenge a GW moderator, if successful you have a "human" aura around you for 25...50...100 minutes.

Mayor McDaniels: All right, people, we need to come up with answers. There are bot leechers sprouting up all over Fort Aspenwood. What are we supposed to do? [silence for a few seconds]
Fire Chief: Well, I, I short of had an idea.
Mayor McDaniels: Please, Mr. Valmor.
Mr. Valmor: [the fire chief] We could give the leechers FoW armor and Crystalline swords. At least that way they'd be pleasant to look at.
Other Members: Oh, that's a good one. Good idea. I like it.
Randy: Well I was thinking: We could brutally beat the leechers and salvage them into Bones, so that we'd still have leechers, but we could use them, for our items.
Mr. Valmor: Ohh, that's a good one.
Mr. Mackey: Nice one, Randy.
Gerald: Like it.
Aide: That's like recycling.
Mrs. Testaburger: All right, enough! I find this whole conversation to be extremely offensive! The leechers aren't monsters, they are people, like you and me!
Randy: You mean they've adapted, copied our DNA.
Leechers Advisor: Excuse me. I am the top researcher of leechers studies for Fort Aspenwood. I don't know why more leeching players are showing up in FA, but I do know... that we must be extremely careful. If we give them any Luxon/Kurzick/Balth faction, there could be more.

BTW - would we really mind having bots that pass the test in a game? Met humans aplenty that wouldn't pass

Yeah, been seeing a few of the bots that just follow you around lately. Also a few that move to some corner and sit down, I guess in an attempt to hide.

Came across one that "woke up" and started chatting the other day, thanking us for feeding him. Obviously everyone wanted a piece of him, and his defense was just that anyone who enjoys farming faction needs to "get a life" and such. Shrug.

Coming from Lineage 2 and Eve, I'm religiously anti-bot/farmer (in the automated nonlegit sense). Normally I would quit just out of principle for not fueling these guys, but considering 80-95% of the matches have at least one leecher in them, it would just be impractical.

LOL.

The notion that a GW character can "hide" by typing "/sit" is actually quite funny..

A long time ago, I got on friendly terms with a leecher of the old type. He always seemed to be at Fort Aspenwood. And I knew he had been there for months. He told me how much amber he had accumulated, something like 10,000. Friendly fellow, just hated to do anything that resembled work.

I never knew whether he sold the plat online or whether he just collected for fun. He was probably reported hundreds of times, with screenies galore.

I asked him whether ANet ever contacted him and asked him to quit. He said they had not.

Eventually I quit Fort Aspenwood when it got to the point where three or four members of every party were leachers. Don't know what it is like today.

I saw that one of the bots (Kurzick side) was annoying the purple gatekeeper by clicking it the whole time.
