messed up lag, only in AB

i'm getting some of the strangest lag in AB, and only in AB. my ping is normally in the 150-250 range. but as soon as i enter an AB game, my ping shoots up to 250-1600+. however, the problem is not just lag in general, but very specific lag.

for example, it could take me forever to activate skills, usually with a 6 second delay (pain in the ass for interrupting), to not being able to activate anything for upwards of a minute. during those times, i could move, everyone else could move. in fact, everyone else were activating skills just fine. even weirder was the fact that I COULDN'T DIE while lagging like that. i could have my hp reduced to 0 by a massive mob and still run around. apparently, everyone could see me standing there, with zero hp with a ton of people wailing away.

the problem can't be on my end, because it ONLY affect AB. everywhere else was fine. i've never encountered this kind of specific lag before. does anyone else experience the same problems?

Can we get some specifics on your system? Have you ever reinstalled the GW client?

as for reinstalling the client, i did it at NF release.

remember, the problem only occurs in AB, so we can't blame my ISP.

This has also occured with me, which I play with an Assassin. Try pulling off a chain when all of a sudden, your skill glows. It gets to the point, where I can hit all eight of my skills, they start flashing, but no response. Like quoted above, I can still move and everything, and I'm also invincible. I was at zero hit points at the warrior shrine, taking damage from five or so people at once, even had poison degen on me. Nothing.

I couldn't activate skills, or normally attack. Usually, I am on ventrilo with guildies of mine, they experience the lag spike around the same time I do. Occasionally, one or two of them will feel the same problem. This is very annoying, sorry to say.
