I wouldn't suggest that. You just need to flag them at a good distance so they don't run up with you and so you don't lose some of the mob while you're running back. The ideal is is 3 or 4 and no more.

Another way to do that is to slowly back up to them (you're backing up so you're facing the right way to run) so you're aggro bubble just touches one of them. Then run.

Exactly. If there's a patrol mixed in, wait til they move on. You have to be patient when you're pulling.

What I do is right after I shoot the arrow, I hit x, to turn around and then r to run. It saves a lot of time.
If you want to fix the attention of the enemy on one tank character, it's more complex still. You can become the target of the enemy the same way as above, but additionally, you must not give the enemy a chance to reevaluate their attack priorities. So, fire the longbow shot, then stand still (moving reevaluates aggro) while the rest of the group is far away. Once the monsters start damaging you, call in the reinforcements. Watch it that you don't move (for example, by switching to a melee weapon and shield combo while attacking).[/QUOTE]
