I cant see my character ?!

Umm, since todays update, i cant see my ritualist. See the screenshots and youl understand what i mean. Neither in outposts nor explorable areas, not even in the login screen! It was all ok yesterday. I tried the -image command to download everything thats missing but no change.





But the REALLY cool thing is that i feel i am controling a flying snake! The staff of the forgotten i am wielding, it shakes as i walk, and then when i cast spells it twists, turns and does all sorts of acrobatic stunts! It is by far the coolest thing ive seen in the game (beats the hell out of the 'disco stairway', ill post a screenshot of that too if i find it).


BTW, i am using Windoes Vista (32-bit) and an nVidia 6600GT card with 162.22 drivers...

Someone in my alliance was talking about this too, I assumed it was lag. If it's cool keep it ;D

Ok now i can assume that Ancient ritualist armor is bugged somehow, when i changed to my Canthan armor set, i was visible again, even when i changed back to the Ancient set, but then i entered a mission and once again i was invisible. Then at some point of the mission, i became visible again, didnt really notice that in the heat of battle. Now im in an outpost and invisible again...

I have the same thing with my mesmer and only when she is wearing her primeval armor set. And the primeval set is really clipped as well...when I can see it, lol.

Same problem here, happens on my male Mesmer who is wearing Primeval armor. Restarted my PC and no change so I just walk around invisible and only see my staff.

Thanks for the imput folks. My 2 main characters are a rit with ancient armor and a mesmer with primeval armor. I cannot see either of them, in game or in the character slots. Other folks in town can't see me either.

So that is all after aug. 29th update?

I havent asked other people if they can see me. Must do that. But i was just in random and team arenas with ppl and it seemed they didnt notice anything strange... Or maybe my invisibility was the key to our 10 win streak in RA *ponders*

Seems that there's a lot of this going on.

Reported this to support, let's see if they'll fix it soon.

BTW the screenshot of the 'disco stairway' is long lost in one of my disk formats
Just to clarify what it was, a graphical glitch in Linnok Courtyard over Shing Jea Monestery which caused the stairs there to be coloured with all the colours of the rainbow...

yup, this also happened with my female mesmer. i chose not to post in the other forum because it had all ritualist posts...and this was not ritualist related.

this happened about 14 hours ago. i logged into my mesmer to put some tomes on her, and i thought it was slow loading---but it turned out this invisibility lasted like 2 hours until i logged off---and still has problems to this very minute.

i did participate in the weekend gwen event, but did not take my mesmer over, just my necro and ele. so she has not been in the HoM, or for that matter has no gwen items on her whatsoever.

i have primeval armor from nightfall dyed black--and people were describing my armor as "is this norn, llyodia?" and "wow you are frightening---what happened to your body?" and others exclaimed "i cannot see you!!!" well, gee, neither could i...until i took the armor off, but when i put it back on, it did show back up, but not in the inventory window at all, and was missing major parts of the armor

i need to see my fur! MY FUR!

i am not able to link any attachments, as i am experiencing technical difficulties (with i think my firewall ), but i do have 2 screenshots that are similar in nature to the ritualist page: one with invisible character and name/title under it, and the other shows that the primeval armor is missing parts, especially on the "chest" piece.

They fixed this with todays update. Kinda disapointing, was just getting used to this.
