Drps hould never get out of PvP possible combinations.
If more can be made in PvE, the must do one of this:
- Add them to PvP too.
- Remove them form PvE.
- Block them in PvP.
Do q8 inherents drop anymore?

The last gold req 8 I had drop was from a dying nightmare in UW a week ago. It was not max though. Grim Cesta 11e +30hp %10 recharge Req 8. I still look at and go wtf xD

I'm sorry, but none of this is actual proof. I'm not calling your information false, but unless we see a SS (with something in the screen proving date as mentioned in OP) all of these claims mean very little.
I also didn't 'tell you off', I merely stated that the information you provided wasn't what I was looking for.
My OP clearly asks for a SS of an inherent q8 item only (now edited to specify gold only) so information of inscription items for any reason is irrelevant, and claims of any other kind of drops minus SS cannot be held as evidence.
The only reason I'm picking these apart is to make it clearer for some exactly what I'm after, and to keep the thread on track.

There have been many q9 ele swords in their loot, q9 mursaat hammers, q9 stygian reavers (plural!), q9 runic blades (plural!).
This information has been flowing for a month now, many of us would have expected at least a rubbish single mod q13 gold q8 ele focus or something...
Once more, I'm not attacking you with any of this. This isn't about us, it's about the gathering of data etc.. as mentioned in OP.

Blue q8's = I have only ever gotten two of these, one in NM outside Mihanu Township, the other HM farming colossals in Zehlon Reach

Everything here points to the fact the req 8's haven't been spotted in any quantity for nearly a year.
Nothing here, other than an official statement by Anet, can prove that req 8's don't drop. The only thing that we can prove, which was what the OP wanted, was conclusive evidence that they DO drop. And no one has been able to do that yet, at least not for non-inscribables.

They way I understand how re8 inherent items drop are as follows:
Yes to any off hand including shields(I have seen some of these drop recently)
No to any weapons.
This was a nerf a very long time ago.
The argument was "how is a green req9 drop better than a max req7-8?"
The answer: obviously its not.
So, they took them out at the same time they took out dual damage reduction shields.

Why remove Req8 items?
They offer no advantage over a Req13 except on the open market. Granted a Req8 is better for some farming builds, but those farming builds can be adjusted to work with a Req9 item.
Also, I believe you're asking for a bit much with the SS business. Who is sad enough to SS a weapon drop?

Yah, the only time I screened a wep drop afaik was when I got 3 golds from a griffon mob back in the day.

My guild of 65 full-time farmers hasn't gotten a req 7 gold max in close to two years, and none of them have been able to report a non-inscribable max req 8 gold in at least 6 months. That's thousands of gold drops without a req 8, let along a req 7.
Sorry, but I'd have to see a SS like the OP before I'd believe it.

3.) bought heal ankh req 8 gold inscribable for 10k

5.)bought req9 tact shield with +10al vs blunt,-5physical20%chance for 3k <i mention this because its 2x dmg reduction and ppl say they dont drop anymore
sorry i did not make scrennies when i got those next time i will now they sit in my inventory beside those req 7whites/blues, i started to collect those since they nerfed hassin shell and pepermint/gingerbread shields which pissed me off VERY VERY much,pm me if you wanna see my collection of req 7&8(got~10 different of those stuff)
how i get those low req items?
answer is simple:WHENEVER something with req 7 (colour does not matter)drops or someone told wts anything alike i ALWAYS CHECK if its max and/or check for price

A 14 yr old alliance member sold me this shield on the 18th, he had it unidented, and told him to ident it then i would buy it, was going to buy it either way, but was going to pay more if it had better stats.... he is 14 and never had much ingame money, he got it in naphu or whatever its called, knew i collected req 7s, and pmed about 1 hr after he got it... pretty sure he wasnt lying about it and sitting on it for a yr or so....
now im gonna guess that u wanted to see them unidented first, then idented, or perhaps on the ground with the persons name attached.... well anyway, spent more time on this topic then i really wanted too....

SS of q8 inherent (NO INSCRIPTION) gold item as it has dropped, with your HUD showing a recent skill bar or your char holding a recent skin/armour set that proves it's current.
What you've provided here isn't even close to evidence, sorry. I do appreciate your effort, though.

Didn't snap a screenshot of the thing, you know, actually on the ground during the mission. I was too busy Monking and whatnot. So, sorry if you actually needed to see the item freshly dropped, because it's a bit late for that now (but if you can't trust me, who can you trust?
) Looted my crap and kept on truckin', you know the drill. However, once I identified it and actually looked at it... Well, I certainly wasn't expecting it, that's for sure. Especially not so soon after reading this thread. 
You can tell it's a recent shot by the Glacial Blade and stuff in my inventory. That's only been around for what, two, three weeks? Well anyhoo... I guess Req. 8 weapons still do drop in Tyria. Don't know about Cantha, and can't be bothered looking around for them (too busy trying to l2p again after spending a month on WoW with minimal GW contact). Maybe somebody will find one there though. Who knows?

Fake, sir! Bad choice for faking a bow when req8 max bows don't drop at all since NF release.
A whole bunch of fakes here. There's no way that r7 celestial shield could have dropped recently aswell. That guy just had kept it unident since before NF.
However req8 max swords, shields and foci (axe too but extreme low chance like one in a million) should still drop in Tyria/Cantha but simply nobody farms the old farming areas on normal mode...
