I would have liked to have had the box and all that too, but opted to purchase Gwen on the online store so that I could get the bonus mission pack. That was my decision, and yours was to go purchase it at the store. You made this decision knowing what the terms of the offer were. Taking that into consideration your argument seems somewhat childish to me.
I would assume at some point Anet will make the bonus mission pack available through other means for players who missed out on the offer. Untill then you'll have to either cough up the cash for more unneeded char slots or unlocks in the online store, or just suck it up and deal with it.
BTW- I had also spent well over the required amount at the online store before the offer was made, as im sure alot of people had. So if anet goes and gives the bonus pack away "for free" as you plead for in your argument, how would that be fair to those of us that read the terms of the offer and went and spent the extra cash in the store to comply with it as opposed to just complaining after the fact?

as a small side note, i do believe the documents included with the boxes of gw games should be made available in PDF form or something to people who purchse them in the online store.
